“I’m going to need a few more details if I’m going to solve this problem. What floor are you on? Are you in a house or apartment? Do you have a basement? How hot is it outside?
From the limited information, my only suggestion would be to take a cool shower right before you go to bed. Don’t dry off completely when you go to sleep. Then, keep the fan on you. As the water evaporates, you will get a localized cooling effect.
You could also make up some ice packs and put them in your pillow. Remember, you lose alot of heat through your head, and places where blood passes close to the skin, like wrists neck and ankles. Try focusing your cooling on those areas.
Add: If air conditioners don’t work… try and survive the night somehow (ice like I said). Tomorrow, you might seriously want to take a look at your homes insulation. If Air conditioners aren’t even doing anything to bring your room down from “oven hot”…then either you have a gaping hole in your homes insulation or your air conditioner is broken.”
